DORA THE EXPLORER has charmed both preschool-age children and their parents alike. Designed to simulate a computer game, the animated series follows the cute little Latina girl, her monkey pal Boots, and their anthropomorphic cohorts Map and Backpack as they set out on problem-solving adventures that encourage interaction and physical activity while teaching simple concepts such as counting, logic skills, and basic Spanish. In this special two-part episode, Dora and Boots become secret agents, assigned with stopping the crafty fox Swiper from stealing cupcakes and birthday presents.

sunt super desenele, multumim frumos :)

noi am primit o carte cu cantecele Dora The Explorer de la cineva din Canada, n-am stiut ca sunt si desene animate. Fetita mea are aproape 3 ani, si asa de mult i-au placut cantecelele, ca pe cele mai simple le-a si invatat, si doarme cu cartea langa ea :)

si la noi este dora de cativa ani,a facut o adevarata isterie printre copii,toate fetitele aveau pana acum cateva luni lucruri numai cu dora si noi avem o mini canpea de copii cu dora ,iar de ceva timp au aparut "bratz" nu stiu exact ce e stiu doar ca totul e acum cu ele pana si sampon au scos cu ele (IMG:style_emoticons/default/24.gif) .

Join Dora, Swiper, Boots, Map, and Backpack in Atari’s DORA THE EXPLORER: DANCE TO RESCUE. Aimed for young children, the game presents a number of puzzles and educational games designed for both fun and education. DANCE TO RESCUE is based on the special double-length episode of the popular DORA THE EXPLORER cartoon series.

Dora may not always get along with Swiper, but when he’s kidnapped and trapped in a bottle by a mean dancing elf, she decides she has to rescue him. The only way to save him is to dance her way through an enchanted castle to win a wish. Dora’s dance routines take the form of a number of different puzzles, including matching, math puzzles, and language quizzes. Gamers will learn new math and language-related skills, including some Spanish words and phrases. A number of printable extra games are also included, allowing players to work on their skills when away from the computer. Young gamers who love Dora will love DORA THE EXPLORER: DANCE TO RESCUE. Parents will appreciate the educational opportunities and lessons the game teaches, and kids will have fun helping Dora and her friends.

In every episode, Dora goes on a quest, usually to help someone in trouble or otherwise do a good deed for someone. Her quests often involve gathering key objects and/or surmounting obstacles, and are usually done in three stages. Dora always asks the viewers at home to help her do things or to tell her things she needs to know. She can think of a way out of any trouble she or her friends come across. Her love for exploring seems to run in the family. Her Abuela (grandmother) was an explorer just like Dora when she was her age.
Dora also enjoys sports as she was on a baseball team with her best friend Boots and her other friends and was coached by her father (his employment status was never changed after that). She loves soccer and is very good at it.
The character is voiced by Kathleen Herles.
